It began with a feeling everyone in the Cowgirl Home & Ranch community recognized.
We’d share a reel of a dream ranch home — the wide porch, the big sky, the barndominium that looked like the life they’d been picturing — and the comments would fill with the same question. Where do I find that? What are those colors? Where’s the floor plan? Who builds this?
More than 50,000 ranch dreamers had gathered around a shared love of the western home — and they wanted the whole dream, not just a wall.
So we built a bigger home for it. Home & Ranch Living is where the western home comes to life — ranches and barndominiums, floor plans and color palettes, home tours and design worth lingering over, and the builders, designers, and realtors who make it real. The dreaming, and everything that feeds it, gathered in one place.

Kim is the founder and creative force behind Home & Ranch Living — and behind Cowgirl Home & Ranch before it. She built a community of more than 50,000 ranch dreamers around a shared love of western living. She sets the vision for everything here: what the western home can feel like, and how to put it within reach of the people who dream about it.
Melanie
ART & DESIGN DIRECTOR
Melanie is the aesthetic behind the brand. For years she’s translated Kim’s vision into everything you see — she designed every piece of the Cowgirl Home & Ranch art collection, from Kim’s direction — and she brings a rare love of builder and realtor marketing to the work. If Kim imagines the dream, Melanie is the one who makes it look like something you can hold.
