About
King’s Saddlery has been hand-tooling ranch saddles, tack, and braided ropes in downtown Sheridan, Wyoming since 1963, when Don King opened the shop after spending years working cattle ranches across the West. Today the multi-room flagship combines a working saddle shop, a retail mercantile carrying ranch-style home goods, Pendleton blankets, leather furniture accents, hand-tooled belts, and braided rawhide reins, and the adjoining Don King Museum — one of the most extensive private collections of western saddles, carriages, Native American artifacts, and cowboy gear in the country. The shop ships custom saddles to working ranches worldwide and remains family-owned. For travelers along the I-90 corridor through northern Wyoming, it is a destination stop in its own right.
Specialties: Hand-tooled ranch saddles · Braided rawhide and leather goods · Pendleton blankets and home accents · Western art and museum-quality artifacts · Custom ranch tack
