Deerwood Log Homes has been handcrafting log homes in the Centennial Valley west of Laramie since 1990, a second-generation family business that handles design, project management and turnkey construction.
Their crews work in Swedish-cope, hand-hewn dovetail and chink-style log, plus timber-frame and post-and-beam hybrids, and they also restore older log homes and barns. The company traces its scribing and saddle-notching methods to Swedish immigrants who settled the valley.
