Justin Rose built his first gate at fourteen. More than two decades later, his Ohio shop, JDR Metal Art, designs and handcrafts custom driveway gates for homes, farms, ranches and estates across the country.
Working in steel, aluminum and cedar, the company creates entrances that are personal by design. A buck and doe at the tree line. A herd moving through the oaks. A ranch name arched overhead. A longhorn and a ranch brand, built for a ranch in Kansas.
Every gate is built in Ohio using American-made metal and fabricated for the property it will call home. Designs range from traditional ranch and wildlife scenes to cleaner architectural styles, with custom names, brands and imagery worked into the gate itself.
Finished gates are crated and shipped nationwide. JDR can connect customers with installers in their area, or send the hardware for those who prefer to hang the gate themselves.
